The subject focuses mainly on the area of the system of pedagogical sciences, on basic pedagogical terms, on an overview of educational institutions, on the aims, contents and means of education and on the process of learning.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will obtain theoretical knowledge from general pedagogy and with its help, will learn to solve the basic problems of education in the area of physical training.

Prerequisites

Basic orientation in pedagogy at school level.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Form of the examination and final classification of the subject:
Credit: The credit is awarded on the basis of attendance at the lectures and active participation in them (papers, demonstrations, self-study). Active presentation (30 points)

Examination: test (70 points)
Klassification: A - F (1 - 4)

- Learning - a process of gaining knowledge and skills.
- Social role of a trainer, coach, organizational worker.
- Pedagogy and sport.
- Pedagogy in relation to free time.

Aims

The subject focuses mainly on the area of the system of pedagogical sciences, on basic pedagogical terms, on an overview of educational institutions, on the aims, contents and means of education and on the process of learning.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The subject consists of lectures, which are compulsory. The subject will be concluded with an test. Any absence must be duly excused and substituted for after agreement with the head of the subject.
