Course detail
FAST-BJ05Acad. year: 2011/2012
The subject contains, considering the technological profile of the branch, theoretical conditions for selected technological operations – classification, mixing problem, conditions for securing the production quality according to ISO. The subject concerns further the education in the probability area and in fundamentals of mathematical statistics. The mass industrial production uses selected statistical methods for evaluation of production procedures i.e. descriptive statistics, frequency tables and histograms, the statistic analysis of one or two variables, normal probability graph, the initial analysis of data, quartile graphs, dispersion variance and covariance analysis, tests of distribution accordance, quality control. Further applied methods are simple and multiple, linear and nonlinear regression, non-parametric methods - tests according to Kolmogorow and Smirnow for one and two samplings, estimates and testing of hypotheses. The lectures are accompanied with tutorials having partly calculation character.
