Fine Arts III.

Working with colors from basic tones to new and their subsequent use for surface and spatial expression. Verification of compositional possibilities, illusive and psychological impact of color variety of techniques. Demonstration relation to the architecture of the color of objects, space and symbolism.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge of the nature of the color spectrum, composition and adding color,
color harmony, color psychology, color symbolism, the spatial impact of color,
use of color in the exterior and interior.

Prerequisites

The course builds on previous semesters of visual creative design focus on form display space and bodies. It is a supporting discipline for their own studio work and work with computer graphics .

Co-requisites

Knowledge of the history of art and architecture .

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching takes the form of practical exercises and self-study. Attendance at seminars is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The condition for the granting of credit is at least 80 % attendance and submitted the required number and quality work.

Grasp of work with colour, colour composition, colour-painting techniques, application of colours in the architectonic composition.
