Basic information on the interconnection and the interaction of architecture and art disciplines in the past and present with emphasis on development in the 20th century . Principles and patterns of visual works in architectural urban space , the study of these regularities model and drawings of the existing works . Own experience in creating artwork for the specified architectural and urban space.

Theoretical knowledge of the subject of art in architecture.
An overview of current trends and types of connections.
The ability to interdisciplinary thinking.
Acquiring collaboration with the artist.
Knowledge of contemporary art production.

Prerequisites

The course builds on the disciplines of creative design and also uses the knowledge gained in architectural design studios of previous semesters.

Co-requisites

History of art and architecture.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching takes the form of practical exercises and self-study. Attendance at seminars is compulsory.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The condition for the granting of credit is at least 80 % attendance on the practice and delivery of individual project focused on the issue of linking art and architecture.

Aims

Gaining the subconsciousnes of the interaction between architecture and the fine arts, simulation of cooperation of an architect and an artist, the fine arts in architecture by kinds, own creation.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
