FP-FspKAcad. year: 2017/2018

The course is linked to the focus of the thesis of each student. The teaching takes place on an individual basis in the lessons set aside for this, primarily consisting of consulting on partial problems and presentation of the results of the thesis produced. The course is focused in particular on the development of the theoretical bases of the thesis on the basis of literature recommended by the course leader, the formulation of the objectives of the thesis and the choice of methods used in writing the thesis.

By successfully completing the course the student demonstrates the ability to formulate an academic problem, set out the approach for its solution and choose the appropriate methods for analysis of the problem.

The teaching is in the form of individual consultations with students.

Producing part of the thesis in accordance with the requirements of the diploma thesis supervisor.

Course curriculum

Thesis requirements.
Setting requirements for the theoretical basis for producing the thesis.
Formulation of the problem.
Structuring the problem and establishing the approach to working on it.
Choice of the appropriate method of problem analysis.
Defining the requirements for the design part of the thesis.

Aims

The objective of the course is to produce part of the thesis, and that will normally be the theoretical basis, the objectives and the methods used in producing the final work.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Control of results of independent work on the assigned tasks.
