Risc Management

FSI-9MRIAcad. year: 2017/2018

From quality management to process safety management - based on safety lavel, risk management in industry,management of change in industry, major accident investigation, legislation support of the risk managemtn in EU. The objective of this course is familiarize the students with the methods to calculate the risks due to dangerous substances using available models and data.
The application of that methods in practice is emphasized. Students will be able to creatively participate in conducting and evaluating projects.

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline.

Testing of the knowledge, the all properties testing, klasification on the basis of level of knowledge.

Aims

The objective of this course is familiarize the students with the methods to calculate the risks due to dangerous substances using available models and data.
Students will be made familiar with assessments of the risks of stationary installations and risks of transport. The application of that methods in practice is emphasized. Students will be able to creatively participate in conducting and evaluating projects.
