German for Intermediate Students I

FEKT-XJN3Acad. year: 2019/2020

The course builds on the previous study (see course JN2. Verbal system, the passive, time clauses, comparatives and superlatives of adjectives and adverbs are practised. Vocabulary knowledge increases, and the listening skills are improved. Specialized German texts for FIT and for the study programmes of FEKT VUT are used as an introduction to the study of technical language. The course is listed among the standard courses.

General language understanding based on reading and listening comprehension.Ability to respond adequately in common situations.To be able to inform about personal experience.Ability to reason and explain, inform about plans and intentions, to give and obtain information.Basic skills for understanding specialized texts(reading comprehension, presentation)

The subject knowledge on the secondary school is required.

Teaching methods include language seminars and homework. Students have to actively participate in classes.
