The course is aimed to project management. Subject illustrates current trends and international standards of project management. It deals with areas to plan and manage projects so they can be completed in a timely manner, the necessary quality and within budget. An integral part is the software support for the planning and monitoring of the project.

Entry knowledge

Knowledge of basic concepts of project management and their understanding. Control of the basic tools used in project management throughout the project lifecycle.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The course is completed exam. The exam is written and oral evaluation tests based on the ECTS grading scale.
Attendance at lectures is recommended. Education runs according to week schedules. Compensation of absence will be in the form of essays and research, and is fully in teacher's competence.

Aims

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the current state of knowledge in the field of enterprise project management. This requires practice acquires knowledge and applying it to a specific project. Students will thus verify behavioral, contextual and technical competence in the form of their own skills.
The course synthesizes and categorizes international standards for managing business projects and get acquainted with the world's most important standards of enterprise project management in Europe, the USA, the UK and the Czech environment. The main emphasis of the course is given to the understanding, learning methodology Project IN Controlled Environements (PRINCE2). At the same time, students will be familiarized with the standard ISO 21,500th Students will have the knowledge to obtain a certificate in project management.
