Computer support of numerical methods

MATLAB environment, fundamentals of programming language. Applications: numerical analysis of linear and nonlinear algebraic equations and their systems, interpolation and approximation of real functions, least squares method, effective solution of differential equations using finite difference and finite element methods.

Aims

Application of software MATLAB to the analysis of problems of numerical mathematics. Facultative upgrade of courses CA01, CA02, CA04 and CA06. At least 10 students required.
Competence to analyze computational problems of engineering practice
using MATLAB-supported advanced numerical methods.
