The subject is focused on the practical acquisition of communication and presentation skills. The content included in the course syllabus will provide students with an overview of the basic principles and techniques of spoken expression and provide relevant and tactful feedback. Each student will have the opportunity to try out various techniques in front of a small audience within the study group. The course emphasizes demonstrative examples of the discussed topics and subsequent practice in front of the study group. The knowledge and experience gained in the course can help graduates present their final papers, projects, and their ideas and thoughts more effectively and confidently.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Terms of graded credit: − active participation in exercises,− deliver a short speech or presentation on a chosen topic using the knowledge acquired during the semester.
Participation in seminars is mandatory. Two absences are allowed in the exercises. A longer absence is replaced by a special assignment according to the instructions of the teacher.
Aims
Students will acquire the principles and techniques of spoken expression and communication, including:− ability to provide relevant and tactful feedback,− ability to prepare and deliver effective and engaging speeches,− knowledge of techniques for reducing nervosity,− ability to effectively utilize nonverbal communication and work with the audience.
Graduates will be able to apply the gained knowledge and experience in their professional and personal lives.
