Project of water structures

Design of simple hydro-technical structure.
Elaboration of project of water structure.
Required scobe: preliminar conceptual design of the struture, location proposal, static and hydrotechnical calculations, calculations and design of functional objects and their alocation, layout plan of the struture, technical report.

Student complete goal of this course which include developing of principle of project elaboration and through execution of a term project.

Prerequisites

Hydraulics, groundwater hydraulics, statics, open channel hydraulics and river engineering,weirs, dam, hydroelectric engineering

1. Preliminary alocation of the structure in layout plan
2.-5. Static and hydrotechnical computations
6.-10. Calculations of functional objects
11.-12. Design of functional objects
13. Detailed solution of layout plan
14. Technical report, completion of the project

Ability to analyse specified problem, overview of essential data and principle of project elaboration, ability to use modern computer technology, bearing in actual legislation related to the specified problem.
