Are you interested in business? Do you have an idea? Do you have an innovative idea and want to put it into practice and use it to develop your business? Come and present it to us and get money to start your business!

Rector of the BUT announces the 4th year of the competition of the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award!
Up to 10 ideas can win, among which up to CZK 1 000 000 will be distributed.

The purpose of the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award is to promote ideas and innovative thinking of BUT students, to encourage their entrepreneurship and to develop their interest in entrepreneurship.

Thanks to the competition, BUT students will gain information about the basic procedures and methods for working with an idea, enabling the validation of its potential, realism and achievability of goals. A secondary effect of the competition is the creation of an internal networking environment supporting entrepreneurship across the BUT student community.

You can register for the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award competition from 20 April 2023 to 20 May 2023.

The competition is open to all BUT students who meet the conditions of the 4th Annual BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award.

Participation in the competition is not a condition for participation in the free course Development and Implementation of a Business Idea, which is taught in the winter and summer semesters of the academic year in cooperation between the Faculty of Business and Management of the BUT and the JIC (South Moravian Innovation Center).

Are you considering taking part in the competition?

You can read the questions on the registration form draft in advance.

The registration form is designed to help you present your business plan (which includes Leancanvas, a competitive analysis and market research, and a financial plan for implementation) to the evaluation committee. It is advisable to study the registration form properly and prepare to answer all the mandatory questions before the actual registration. The text sections, unless otherwise indicated, should be completed bearing in mind that the evaluators will have a maximum of 30 minutes to evaluate the entire form.
