Business Idea Development and Realization II
The course Business Idea Development and Realization II (RaRPN II) is taught in the winter semester and builds on RaRPN I. Its aim is to broaden students' knowledge and skills in the areas of sales, business skills and negotiation, knowledge transfer, intellectual property protection, basic business law (especially drafting basic business documents and contracts), presentation skills, basic HR and networking (creation, development and functioning of teams, cooperative activities). In addition, students will learn the basics of business economics, including costing, budgeting, investment and economic risk assessment methods, and revenue stream. The course also includes systems for supporting start-ups and spin-off companies, not only at the university level.
A prerequisite for registering for RaRPN II is completion of RaRPN I or development of a basic business plan in the form of Lean CANVAS.
The aim of the course is:
To learn the basics of commercial law (including drafting basic commercial documents and contracts), basic sales, business skills and negotiation.
Learn the basics of business economics, including costing, budgeting, investment evaluation methods, economic risk and revenue stream.
Support presentation skills, basic HR and networking (team formation, development and functioning, collaborative activities).
The course is realised in cooperation of the Faculty of Business and Management BUT (FBM) and South-Moravian Innovation Centre (JIC).

Course detail
Registration for the course is always on the 5th calendar day before the start of the semester, i.e. on 11 September 2024 from 8:00 to 22:00 in the StudIS BUT environment.
The capacity of the course is 80 students per semester and is for 4 credits.
The start of the course is on Wednesday 25 September 2024 at the FP BUT, classroom P157.
Dates of lessons
The course is taught 6 times during the semester, always from 15:00-18:50.
