Effective logistics management is crucial for the success of the company. Logistics harmonize material flows in all forms of material principles with information flows for obtaining economy both for customers and providers. Logistics is one of the form value chains, which connect enterprise with their customers and suppliers.

Lectures will be realized with the usage of standard educational and information technology.
Seminars will be realized in computer laboratory.
Způsob a kritéria hodnocení
Evaluation of semester project will be primarily based on attention to detail, systematic and creative approach. Chosen semester project(s) topics should be sent via e-learning by the end of 5th week of the semester.
Students have to hand over a written flow process chart and value stream map model via e-learning by the end of 7th of the semester in the form file1 (flow proces chart): teamleadersurname1.xls or similar teamleadersurname1.xxx and 10th week file2 (value stream map) teamleadersurname2.vsdx or teamleadersurname2.xxx
Late submission will be penalized 5 points from the total score of semester project.
Semester project(s) evaluation is based on weight of following factors i. e. theoretical knowledge understanding and application (40 %); solution approach, scope and quality (40 %); meeting with formal conditions (formal and graphic form etc.) (20 %).
Written exam will be contain open and a few closed questions, which focus on practicle understanding and application of logistics approach. Finally attendance and participation in seminars will be checked by the tutor.
Course Completion for Students with Individual Study Plan
Course assessment is conditional on submitting the semestral project(s) in the required scope and time and passing an exam.
The exam contains set of open and close questions, which focus on practical understanding and application of logistics approach.
Distance Course Completion
All full time education activities (i. e. seminars, lectures and workshop) are replaced by adequate online education form. Student’s attendance is checked by selected topics solution or online discussion. In the examination, which is online, the theoretical knowledge of the taught problems of logistics is checked. The online exam contains set of open and a few closed questions, which focus on practical understanding and application of logistics approach.
The total classification is based on both the number of points from each part and European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Grade A (excellent) 100 to 90 points; B (very good) 89 to 80 points; C (good) 79 to 70 points; D (satifactory) 69 to 60 points; E (sufficient) 59 to 50 points; F (failed) 49 to 0 points.
