The position of the Nonextensive Statistical Mechanics in the framework of the Statistical Mechanics is clarified: The Nonextensive Statistical Mechanics is one of the valuable approaches for dealing with certain classes of systems. The comparison of the properties of the Tsallis and Renyi informational entropies are also discussed. The application of the Tsallis entropy in chaos theory is presented.
