This contribution describes an effective and quite accurate way of incorporating external electrical circuit parameters into electrical arc simulations in low voltage circuit breakers. The whole computational scheme that include the parameters of external short-circuit current source and parameters of the circuit is presented here. The effective way of solution of the eqation that describes the external circuit is presented here as well. Two examples of circuits that are often used for power tests are used to show the practical usage of this computational scheme.
