In this paper some consequences of the existence of antisymmetric kinetic cross-coefficients in thermodynamic reciprocity relations are analysed and the connection between cross-coupling procesess and symmetry properties of the coupling matrix is discussed. The symmetry properties of coupling matrix are tightly connected with the time-reversal properties of the state variables of the system. The problem of non-validity of the law of minimum entropy production in stationary non-equilibrim state as the consequence of antisymmetry of the coupling matrix is considered.
