Originální abstrakt

Backlash is a common fault that occurs in geared mechanisms, and can produce inaccuracy or uncontrollability of the mechanism. This paper presents the design and the experimental result of the active position control of servodrives with combined elasticity and backlash. The theory how to design such a controller (P-PI-PID) with backlash and with/without subsidiary speed loop. Nonlinearities are estimated by a state observer based on a pproximate linear models. The position control structures of servodrives designed in MATLAB/SIMULINK
