At a quick pace, the data storage space is ever smaller and the data transmission ever faster, and therefore it is imperative for reliable function to concentrate on the protection from undesirable influences even where it has not been necessary before. Nowadays, burst errors have been occurring with much higher frequency than simple or multiple errors.
