Originální abstrakt

The contribution reviews the availability of physical and chemical properties of both herbaceous and woody biomass, that are required in grate combustion modelling. Data are collected from existing literature and typical values of the properties are listed in tables. Empirical formulas for calculation of coefficients in transport equations are discussed in terms of their generality and validity under combustion conditions.
