Originální abstrakt
The aim of this paper is to describe the implementation of a fault tolerant vector control scheme applied to a dual-fed Flux-Switching Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (FS-PMSM). The continuous operation of the motor drive system is maintained during open circuit faults by adopting the appropriate control strategies. The control scheme is verified by both simulations and experimental results. Experimental result backing simulation studies will illustrate the robustness of this drive topology to operate in safety critical applications.
