Scientific activities
Processing technologies and characterization of specific properties of metallic materials and intermetallics for high temperature applications, thermal barrier coatings, diffusion coatings and thermally sprayed surface treatments, and unconventional lightweight alloys. Focusing on the study of reaction synthesis, diffusion, kinetics, phases tranformation and elements interaction enabling the formation of protective surface treatments or particulate composite materials in Al-Ni, Al-Ni-Cr, Al-Ni-Si, Al-Ni-Mg systems.
