Projekt je zaměřen na 4 oblasti aplikované optiky, které jsou rozvíjeny na Ústavu fyzikálního inženýrství: 1. Využití techniky LIBS ve spojení s rentgenovou počítačovou mikrotomografii ke charakterizaci struktury a prvkového složení analytu 2. Experimentální biofotonika - pokročié metody světelné mikroskopie a jejich aplikace 3. Využití metody zobrazovací spektrofotometrie k měření optických parametrů tenkých vrstev vytvářených v průmyslové praxi 4. Numerické simulace nanofotonických struktur
