Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will develop their skills required for team work, managerial functions in small company and formulation of business plan. Students will develop their knowledge of legal and financial aspects of entrepreneurial activities. Students will practice approaches of preparation and establishing of entrepreneurial activities. Students can modify their entrepreneurial specialization in individual and team agreement.

Prerequisites

Knowledge:
• methodology of business plan formulation;
• knowledge of marketing tools;
• knowledge of elements and functions of management.
Skills:
• basic analytical skills for evaluation of market and company;
• basic communication skills.

Aims

Course is focused on realization of real entrepreneurial projects. Managerial knowledge and skills required in entrepreneurship are developed on the base of practical training. Knowledge and skills needed for business plan formulation and business model creation are developed.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at seminars is required as well as studying of basic literature. Control is in teacher’s competence. The attendance at the presentation and defence of project is compulsory.
