Profile
Consumer chemistry is a progressive study specialization that reflects contemporary situation of chemical industry and related technologies and their potential development not only in the Moravian regions but also in the whole Czech Republic. The curriculum is based on the complex of applied physical chemistry disciplines including e.g. also photochemistry, plasma chemistry and rheology. The above overall knowledge is extended in specialized courses with accent on main disciplines of consumer chemistry industry: application of colloid chemistry, special biopolymer and polymer materials. The application of theoretical knowledge is taught in courses discussing several consumer chemistry technologies: paper, print and cellulose technology, textile, surface treatment, and photography.
