Profile
The aim of bachelor's degree branch Accounting and Taxes is to provide to candidates with completed secondary education an opportunity to study a bachelor's degree, during which students acquire theoretical and practical knowledges of accounting of businesses, nonprofit organizations, direct and indirect taxation, company law as well as all other areas that are standard in economic branch. Teaching is focused on gaining expertise and developing the skills of their application in practice.
Key learning outcomes
The knowledge and skills of the graduates are given by technical orientation of bachelor's degree branch, especially of its profiled subjects - economics, accounting, tax, law, business economics and financial management, financial market as well as management and mathematics. The study is based on practice requirements, it reflects the current level of knowledge in the areas of accounting, taxation and law and at the same time is designed to allow to complete the education in related fields.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
A graduate can find fulfilment in the functions of accountants, business economists, senior management assistants or general in the advisory field. They may also apply for professional work at revenue authority and other institutions of the state administration system. The graduate has gained a sufficient theoretical basis for further study of master's degree study programme.
