O projektu

This project considers a biocompatible, cell-free bilayer skin dressing based on naturally occurring materials for wound healing. It offers biologically supportive material, which can act as a full-time matrix degradable in the body, and a protective layer, which could replace the silicone layer. The bilayer is mainly used to study cell-material interaction, as well as mechanical behaviour and material structures. It is also believed that this bilayer dressing will be able to combat inflammation and reduce cost to the health system.
