Thank you to everyone who participated in the Employee Survey.
Its results will be available (during February 2023) to all University staff, for example on the Staff Support & Development website.
Satisfaction survey of BUT employees in 2022
The questionnaire survey for BUT staff was conducted via the Click4Survey web application. It was available in two language versions (English and Czech). You received the link to fill it in via BUTnews. The questionnaire could be completed from 19 October 2022 to 11 November 2022.
Summary of the questionnaire survey:
- 1,064 respondents completed the questionnaire / a 29.4 % return rate / 17 % were senior staff.
- Most of the respondents were in the age range of 41 - 50 years.
- The assignment of mentor/mentee for new entrants increased significantly after the award.
- Language and vocational training would be most welcomed by respondents.
- In terms of benefits, respondents would welcome allowances for children, sports, cafeteria.
- In terms of mobility, 60 % of respondents plan to go abroad.
- The biggest barriers to mobility are family reasons and language barriers.
- 80 % of respondents feel socially safe at university.
- Respondents agree to create a welcome service (welcome day, adaptation ...) also for new employees from the Czech Republic.
- The questionnaire survey revealed that it will be necessary to set up and improve knowledge transfer support and partly also project support.
Another objective was to identify progress in the key areas of the HR Award Action Plan (2021-2022) and to set out the steps and actions we will continue to work on in order to sustain the HR Award (2023-2026). The survey was also part of the Interim Assessment phase of the HR Award process.

Questionnaire 2020
In the period from April 21 to May 21, 2020, the HR Award survey, focused on the implementation status of the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, was carried out.

Satisfaction survey of BUT employees in 2020
The aim of the survey was identified key areas for improvement in the individual areas evaluated and to identified the steps and measures we will work on as part of the process of winning and maintaining the HR Award on BUT. The survey was carried out and its results will representitived, among other things, under OTM-R policy (Open, Transparent and Merit-based policy), which the HR Award also requires to be documented and demonstrated. Survey will be available to all university staff.
The survey included a total of 40 statements corresponding to the 40 guidelines included in the Charter and the Code.

- Ethical and Professional aspects
- Recruitment and Selection
- Working conditions and Social security
- Training and Development
