The research will focus on the analysis of the current state in the field of project development prediction. The main goal of the dissertation is to design and verify a new model respectively methodology for project development predicting in order to minimize the risk of its failure, which will allow more effective project management.

Cyclists are one of the most vulnerable road users (in the Czech Republic about 40 killed and nearly 300 seriously injured annually). With regard to the way they move on the road, the analysis of an accident involving a cyclist is different from other types of traffic accidents (higher speed than a pedestrian, lower speed and weight than a motorcycle or vehicle, the trajectory of movement is not straight, etc.). It is therefore necessary to analyse how cyclists behave and how they move with the bicycle in the traffic space, both from the perspective of the bicycle movement (dynamic parameters, trajectory) and from the perspective of the cyclist (perception, reactions - e.g. use of eyetracking). The analysis of some serious accidents shows that cyclists often do not pay enough attention to the situation in front of them, but especially when riding fast, they basically look underneath themselves, at the bicycle computer, or at the road immediately in front of the bicycle. There are also cases where cyclists unknowingly make an unexpected manoeuvre due to, for example, looking back, etc.

In traffic, it is necessary to constantly interpret other people's behaviour. The behaviour of road users is based, among other things, on interaction and anticipation of the behaviour of other road users. Predictable interaction and communication between road users is also crucial with regard to the development of autonomous mobility. It is therefore necessary to understand the requirements for interaction with other road users, especially in relation to vulnerable road users. It is also important to take into account potential influencing factors, not only the characteristics of the users themselves but also the design of the traffic area.

The research will focus on the analysis of the current state of risk management and quality. The main goal of the dissertation is to design a risk management system (methodology) as part of an integrated quality management system with regard to the specifics of the selected industry.
Regarding the increasing share of alternative fuel vehicles operating in the Czech Republic, the probability of their involvement in a traffic accident is also increasing. Traffic accidents involving alternative fuel vehicles are generally characterized by an increased risk due to the type of propulsion. For example, there is an increased risk of fire or explosion, risk of electric shock, risk of leakage of very dangerous substances into the surrounding environment, etc. Salvage and towing operations for these vehicles are characterized by differences related to specific handling, the need to choose a suitable towing route away from critical infrastructure, consideration of risk locations (tunnels, bridges, water sources, etc.), the choice of a suitable location for parking the vehicle and its monitoring for a sufficiently long period of time. Currently, there is no standardization of these operations in the Czech Republic that would ensure effective and safe recovery of accidents involving alternative fuel vehicles and prevent disproportionate prolongation of road closure time or damage to health or the environment. It is therefore very topical and socially beneficial to address the issue comprehensively. For forensic engineering, the results of this thesis will be used to clarify the expert questions related to the assessment of the method of recovery of these accidents on roads.

Vulnerable road users have long accounted for around half of road deaths. The technical and legal view of the rights and obligations of drivers and pedestrians (or cyclists) and the causes of road accidents often differ. The technical solution is often not straightforward and is based on many assumptions that are not known in detail, one of which is the length of the driver's reaction time. The length of the reaction time influences the course of the accident and the possibilities of avoiding the accident and therefore the assessment of the technical cause of the accident, while its specific length is usually unknown to drivers and is particularly problematic in low visibility accidents with low contrast obstacles. Another aspect is, for example, the issue of the suddenness and unexpectedness of the occurrence of such obstacles in relation to the distances and speeds of the colliding objects. Expert investigations, although based on the same initial conditions and often involving the same accident scenarios, often interpret the results differently and the same is true in decision-making practice. The aim of this thesis will be to provide a technical and legal perspective on the interpretation of the results of such accidents in order to increase the legal certainty of the accident participants, based on accident scenarios and international comparison of the rights and obligations of the participants and decision-making practice. For forensic engineering, the thesis will be used to bring the two perspectives closer together and to assist in the formulation of technical conclusions of expert examinations.

In connection with the requirements for an accelerated transition to electromobility, which reflects the need to reduce CO2 emissions, a significant change in the structure of the vehicle fleet is gradually taking place, which is already manifested in the growing number of vehicles equipped not only with hybrid drives, but especially with fully electric drives. The use of full electric drive brings with it many changes and it is necessary to investigate how these changes have and will affect the marketability of vehicles over their useful life. The use of electricity to power vehicles, the use of batteries, has an impact on the readiness of vehicles to be used, their repairability, maintainability and safety. All of these factors are and will be influenced by the development of charging infrastructure, service developments, legislative changes, vehicle manufacturers' commercial policies and technical progress. On the basis of the analysis of the current state as well as the expected development in the field of electromobility, the aim of the thesis is to evaluate the significant factors influencing the utility value of electric vehicles throughout their useful life and to deduce how these specifics should be taken into account in their valuation.
