Learning outcomes of the course unit

Acquiring practical experiences with creation, realization and presentation of audio works, cultivation of self-reflection, public performance and producing of audio CD.
The students will have possibility for their self presentation at the TRIAL event and to be a part of organization team of the whole Trial event.
During the lessons there will grow-up the audio-lab in the sound studio U.fon. There will be happening the collective improvisations and recordings.
The CDcompilation of recordings will be the final output of the summer semester.

Prerequisites

This is a follow-up course to Sound Art I and Audio Technology. Students who have practical experience with sound processing are also welcome.

Aims

The summer semester will be in the form of exercises and will be focused to the practical aspects of the sound creation: from building sound-objects, field-recording, foolley, work in a sound studio, music mixing to the preparation and organization of a public performance.
Course participants will present their projects publicly three times during the semester within a presentation of students' work in the 4AM gallery at the TRIAL evenings, held by the Audio-Video Department at the FFA.
