Profile
On the grounds of compulsory exams and seminars, the bachelor is provided with the sum of general knowledge from the areas of arthistory and theory of art, as well as from the fundaments of his/her own subject. He/she is able to look for, find and process information, analyze individual design phenomena and include them into historic and cultural contexts. In his/her studio work the bachelor learns theoretic and practical basics of type creation, design, digital design, web pages creation through both individual and team approach.
Key learning outcomes
The BA graduate has a general knowledge of theory nad history of art, philosophy, aesthetics, and technologies essential for artistic development, communication, and presentation. He is aware of graphic design history, theory, and contemporary tendencies, and they have mastered the technological skills both on the material and software level. He is able to carry out designs according to the commission or assignment.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
Graduates are informed about the history and contemporary trends of their field and they have the skills to work both in classical and digital media as ad designers, book and magazines designers, or web designers. They are able to work independently or within a graphic studio regime.
