Profile
On the grounds of compulsory exams and seminars, the bachelor is provided with the sum of knowledge and skills which enable him/her to independently seek, find and process information related to the area of industrial design. He/she is able to analyze given phenomena and include them into historic and cultural contexts. In the studio work, the bachelor learns theoretic and practical basics of his discipline, from the traditional techniques of drawing and modelling to digital models and their transfer to space.
Key learning outcomes
The BA graduate has a general knowledge of theory nad history of art, philosophy, aesthetics, and technologies essential for artistic development, communication, and presentation. She has acquired the general knowledge of product design history and contemporary context and has acquired technological skills both with materials and software. She is able to carry out a specific product, according to her individual specialization.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
The graduates are in a close contact with industrial production and they are able to work bothin classical and digital media. They can either take up commissions as freelance designers or can work in a studio/company.
