In the context of developing open access to scientific information, there is a growing activity of a certain group of publishers who take advantage of the novelty aspect of this approach the academic world, where some authors are still not well-informed about the topic.
Therefore, when choosing a journal, it is quite important to beware of predatory journals and publishers who try to use the OA publishing model only for their business activities and do not bring any benefit to the scientific world. Publishing with these publishers often does not include the traditional peer review process, and clearly the most important part of the whole procedure is to collect the publication fee.
We call on any authors to take the time to thoroughly evaluate the quality of the journal they choose for their publication activities.
